My wife is an interior design student who practices everything she learns at our house. I cannot tell you how many rooms I have painted and moved furniture around in. But this year, it was the yard that has been our biggest challenge. She decided that it needed more than the normal grass cutting and trim so it became her mission to find the perfect garden décor to enhance our front and back yards.

She went to yard sales on the weekend and picked up a few fun pieces to place in flowerbeds and on the patio and found some great plant stands and pots online to help with the front porch and patio as well. I thought everything looked pretty good until she bought some great trellises to place in the yard along with an old bench and wrought iron table. She then went on to explain how the yard needed the height of the trellises to give it structure and balance as well as a framework to work within. All I know is it really looks great! I do think she knows what she’s talking about.
