I’ve found some marvelous giraffe gifts! Before I came across the magic zoo, the best giraffe earrings, charms and so forth came from a recent trip to Africa. I was pleased to find an American artist who seems to have just the right touch to create an (essentially) giraffe figurine somewhere between whimsical and realistic. These are a little like tiny statues, only you get to wear them! I’ve always loved artisan jewelry, so finding my favorite wild animal done so beautifully was a thrill.

Cool wildlife jewelry is one of the things I’ve always wanted to collect. Even as a little kid, I admired elephant pendants, monkey pins and so forth. I hadn’t discovered my fascination for giraffes yet, but I’ve always loved wildlife. So, of course, nature jewelry was one of the first things I collected.

Of course you can live without jewelry. In this economy, you may ask “What do I need more stuff for?” Well, I believe in supporting artists and the beautiful handmade jewelry they can create. More power to them!
